The Sant'Agata Bolognese manufacturer is preparing a track-focused variant of its Revuelto hybrid supercar, to be unveiled later in 2026, Motor1 reported this week. The new model, referred to as the Revuelto SV, will feature aerodynamic upgrades designed to enhance performance on closed circuits, marking a refinement of the Revuelto platform that debuted two years ago.

The move reflects a familiar pattern in Motor Valley's engineering tradition: the pursuit of incremental power and handling refinement in the supercar segment. Sant'Agata has long relied on special versions—SV variants, in particular—to extend a model's lifecycle and signal technical progress to the global collector and driving market. The Revuelto SV will sit alongside the standard hybrid model, which combines a V12 engine with electric assistance.

The timing places the variant within a broader competitive landscape. Ferrari and Lamborghini have both committed to hybrid and electric powertrains as European emissions standards tighten, yet both continue to emphasize performance credentials and driver engagement. Sant'Agata's decision to develop a track-focused hybrid variant suggests confidence in the Revuelto platform's technical foundation, even as the industry navigates the transition away from pure combustion engines.
