Four-star South Tyrol resort changes hands in pan-European hotel shift

Global investment manager Ares Management and pan-European hotel operator EQ Group have sold the Lindenhof Resort in South Tyrol, according to HVS Europe's weekly hotel transactions bulletin published on 9 June. The sale marks another shift in ownership among the region's four-star Alpine properties, which have seen increasing interest from international capital seeking exposure to European mountain tourism.

The transaction was included among five major hotel sales tracked across the United Kingdom, Spain, Italy, and France during the week ending 5 June. The Lindenhof Resort's change of hands reflects broader patterns in Alpine hospitality investment, where properties with established reputations and stable occupancy attract institutional buyers looking to consolidate regional portfolios or exit mature markets.
