Italian Astronaut Named Lead Pilot for NASA's Artemis III Moon Mission

Deutsche Welle reported on Friday that Luca Parmitano, an Italian astronaut, will serve as lead pilot for NASA's Artemis III test flight, a mission designed to validate technology for future moon landings. The flight is expected to launch in 2027.
