Serie A's Trepy out of coma after Sardinia pool rescue

Serie A striker Yael Trepy is out of an induced coma, two days after being pulled unconscious from a swimming pool in Sardinia, according to the BBC Sport. The player's condition has improved enough for doctors to bring him out of the medically induced state, the broadcaster reported on Tuesday evening.

The incident occurred while Trepy was on the island, a popular summer destination for players during the Serie A off-season. He was rescued from the water by those nearby and taken to hospital, where he has remained under care since.
